Bryntysilio Outdoor Centre and Ludus Dance Company.
An Opportunity for Key Stage 2 children to engage in dance and an adventure activity inspired by outdoor landscapes.
Children will spend the morning engaged in dance incorporating a plastic pollution theme and the afternoon using re-cycled plastic barrels to design, build and paddle a raft on the Llangollen canal.
Includes CPD dance workshop for enthusiastic teachers (PM).
There are similarities between dance and outdoor education in terms of exploration, expression, challenge and opportunity for building children’s confidence, confidence, growth mind-set and general well-being.
Ludus (ludusdance.org) and Bryntysilio are exploring possibilities of some shared work around young people’s mental health and well-being.
