At school you will be given some forms for you and your family to fill in.

You will need to think about what to bring for your stay at Bryntysilio. This can be quite difficult so we’ve got printable kit list to start you off: Kit List

Getting Here

We are situated overlooking the picturesque Horseshoe Falls on the River Dee which is the end of the Llangollen canal. The nearest town is Llangollen which sits at the base of Dinas Bran castle – a favourite walk in the area.

Welcome

On arrival you’ll be welcomed to Bryntysilio and shown to your rooms. You’ll then be given any equipment you need for your stay – for example waterproofs, a bag to keep them in and some wellies. What you get depends on your course and the weather! You’ll be expected to look after the equipment during your stay!

Typical Day

During your stay you’ll have jobs or duties to do to help keep Bryntysilio tidy and to help your stay run smoothly.

Goodbye

At the end of your stay we’ll collect in all the equipment we’ve lent you, you’ll have to strip your beds and try to fit all of your stuff back into your bags!

Finally we’ll wave you off on your journey home.
